Being simply unhappy is not a hardship.
Maintaining a shred of dignity or self-esteem is not a delusion.
I don't go drunk posting on other schools' or other confererences' message boards, as I am not an alcoholic.
This had literally NO effect on Tech, hired arguably the best HC in decades and recruiting stayed even or better. On paper, much better than the HC hire by the peppers.

SBC releases schedule with 3 CUSA schools.
If I'm running the MAC social media I'm releasing a fake schedule today with these three on it.
You'd get retweeted for days, get a lot of positive "look at the sense of humor" rep while making two other G5 schools look silly (but not in a mean spirited enough way to earn blowback, all in good fun).
But now if they do it they owe me consulting fees.
I guess they are just that confident that Judy will fold like a cheap suit?
Am I right in understanding that the lawsuits are going to pretty much prevent any actual action?
If she does, no set of conference bylaws for any conference are worth the paper they are printed on.
2022-2023 potential revenue losses for C-USA if the SBC3 leaves early:
1) Roughly $1 million per school in NCAA distributions based on sports sponsorships and scholarships offered as discussed previously
2) A potential reduction in the estimated $5.6 M to $7 M in TV rights deals with CBSSN and Stadium. Even a 20% drop (21% of the membership is violating the bylaws) would be in the range of $1.12 million to $1.4 million total.
3) Other potential sponsorship losses.
And then factor in recovery of legal costs and other unspecified damages, and the total could easily exceed $6 million ($2 million for each of the SBC3). That is why even $2 million might be a lowball target for what the SBC3 should each fork over for the privilege of an early exit.

Apparently they aren't.
Writing the bylaws the way they did didn't work. From now on I guess it'll be pure buy-out amounts (but those won't always stand either).
They know and knew the rules. The sunbelt convinced them that CUSA would not exist so breaking the rules would not matter. ESPN is up in the middle of this crap too.
ESPN likely instigated it all. Need some FOIA requests for all three of the SBC3. IF ESPN is involved as we suspect, double the fees being demanded and make it a minimum $4 million plus per school.
