    Media Rights

C-USA Media Rights expire after next school year. With the loss of 9 schools, and the addition of 4, I don't know what the new numbers will look like. I honestly don't think it will be worse per school.

The following shows the current FBS rights. What do you think the next C-USA deal will look like?

Conference Network Expiration Per School $
    Annually
    AAC ESPN 2032 $7 million
    ACC ESPN 2036 $17 million
    Big Ten FOX/ESPN 2023 $31.4 million
    Big 12 ESPN/FOX 2025 $20 million
    C-USA CBSSN/Stadium 2023 $400-500,000
MAC CBSSN (ESPN sublicense) 2023 $600,000
    MWC CBS/FOX 2026 $4 million
    PAC 12 FOX/ESPN 2024 $21 million
    SEC ESPN 2034 $44 million
    SBC ESPN 2031 $500,000

    Re: Media Rights

If we can get closer to $750,000/$1 million per school, I would not be opposed to a mainly streaming deal with Peacock/Paramount+/Apple/Amazon. I'm sure those services are looking for content.

A CBS Sports Net/Paramount+ deal would be good. Peacock would be okay, but they don't have NBC Sports anymore, so I would see traditional cable broadcasts.

Apple/Amazon might pay more money, but again, no network to air games on cable.

I would like to keep the Stadium deal for some games (also would like to get more on Bally RSNs). But Sinclair is bleeding money, so probably no-go that route.

ESPN doesn't have anywhere to put us, so since they are mostly streaming, I'd rather get more $ elsewhere.

Man, SEC schools get a cool $44M per year. Pretty nice for a school like Vandy to ride the coat tail.

The Sun Belt’s deal is now $2 million per school.

The AAC’s deal is $7 million for current AAC schools, but the C-USA schools joining will only get $2 million.
