WNIT can be great experience to get this bunch ready for next year. Need to go deep if not win it.
I hate we didn't win but that being said I really like this team and please if your close to wherever these kids are playing go watch and support them in the WNIT
Y'all seem convinced we are WNIT bound. Is it a lock?
If we do go, I hope the team seizes the opportunity to make a deep run and gives it a shot.

As division champion? Thought only the regular season conference champ has an auto bid. Of course, Charlotte won the east and are now in the NCAAs.
Okay, fine by me.
I think that's the way it works since they were both division winners, Charlotte gets the NCAA, we get the NIT bid. Even if it is an at large bid, I cannot see us not getting a bid.
I think we get multiple bids in wnit LA Tech, MTSU, ODU. To WNIT
And then on to the other tournaments that I think they still have for post season I see WKU and North Texas heading to if they don't get into WNIT
If Charlotte didn't have the NCAA bid, they wuld get the WNIT auto-bid.
WNIT is 64 teams this year too. Middle Tennessee likely also gets in. ODU may also be in the mix.

The Field
The 64-team field includes 32 teams that receive automatic berths - one berth from each of the nation's conferences - and 32 at-large selections. All teams at the Division I level will be considered for at-large berths, including those who are independent and/or are in the transition process of reaching full NCAA Division I status.
Field will be announced Sunday night after the NCAA bracket is out (7:00-8:00 PM).
