Spin, rinse, repeat...
Yes, Time will Tell if it's a turn in a new direction .................... I wouldn't exactly call Hester a konkol guy, given he moved on and disassociated himself fairly quickly. Duffy would be your konkol guy.
So long as this dude isn't a Total Wimp like his predecessor, I'll be interested to see what he can do for the program and am really pleased we have a new and different H.C.
Nah. He very well might have been looking to leave for most of the time he was on konkol's staff; sometimes it takes time to find the right job that will help you to advance your career. Apparently Hester found what he was looking for when he was able to hook up with Texas Tech. If he was a konkol guy, he'd have stuck around. I seriously doubt he learned much of anything useful from konkol.
Georgia was 6-26 with no wins away from home, 1-17 in the SEC, and lost its last 12 games.
Contending for an NIT bid in year 2 would probably be the ceiling. I just don't see Georgia as that attractive a transfer portal destination to be able to overhaul the roster that quickly.

It looks like a great hire to me. Time will tell, but I think he is going to be energized to build his reputation as a Head Coach. He has recruiting down to an art, already.
