If you can't sue the individual schools, I guess the next option is to sue the sunbelt. Would a tampering lawsuit work vs the sunbelt?

Single to center starts the FIU 6th.
    Fly to right.
Catcher's interference on Corona puts runners at first and second.
    Strikeout.
FIU thrown a run by Corona. Runner at second. Tech 7-2.
Fly to Netterville almost in short center.

Quality start by Fincher. Exactly what was needed.

Netterville grounds to second on the left side of the infield.
Wallace pinch hits for Burchfield and grounds to short.
    Matulia singles to center.
Matulia steals second. Easiest steal he will get.
    Myers strikes out.

    Tech 7-2 after 6.

Conference at the mound on a 2-0 count by Young.
Young singles to left as Tech goes station to station. Tech 8-2.
McConnell strikes out for the first out.
Netterville pops to left. Netterville is now in an 0-19 slump.
    Wallace hit by a pitch (that's 6). Tech 9-2.
Matulia cleans the bases with a double to left center. Tech 12-2.
    Myers strikes out.

Re: LA Tech Plays Host to FIU for Conference Home Opener

    Giannette on for more.

    Liner to third.
Grounder to third with a nice scoop by Wallace.
    Grounder to second ends it.

    Tech 12-2 final

Fincher gets the win and Giannette gets a 3-inning save by retiring all 9 batters he faced.

ETA...Giannette has not been credited with the save he earned on the game box score. 3 effective innings to finish a game qualifies a pitcher for a save.

It’s really sad to see baseball not doing Steele more fairly especially in his last year. This is supposed to be his most fun year.

Saw where LSU dropped to 21st from 14th after their loss to us. Then tonight LSU got humbled by 8th ranked Florida. Truthfully, LSU is mediocre at best. Well, mediocre by their usual standards. As for national rankings LSU will always get the benefit of the doubt. If they get swept by UF this weekend they will drop out of the Top 25 but can climb back in with a series win/sweep of just about any upper echelon SEC opponent. I mention this to show how bias the rankings are...something we all knew.

Don't look now, but the #1 RPI team will be in Ruston Tuesday night.

Dallas Baptist is hosting Maryland (ranked #20, RPI 17 now down to 20) this weekend. Patriots just beat the Terrapins 8-3.

Texas just lost at Texas Tech 5-4 in 10 on a steal of home while the pitcher fiddled on the mound and just held the ball.

Nice conference win. Midweek wins against in-state schools are nice, but conference wins are the best.
