#8 LA Tech Bowling will compete in the Arlington, TX NCAA Regional Apr 7-8. Other teams in the regional are Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, & North Carolina A&T

Split the traditional and bakers 1-1 and lost the tiebreaker bakers series to drop to the losers bracket against NC A&T.
Have to work from the losers bracket which is a tough haul but they can do it. This region was likely the toughest region in the whole bracket. There 4 top 10 teams in this regional.
Yeah that NC A&T is a good squad. The shocker is #11 SFA beating Sam Houston. Now we have to beat Sam Houston. I think our bowlers can do it.Originally Posted by weunice

Its a bowling weekend for me. Headed up to Holiday Lanes in Shreveport for my son to compete in Pepsi. I'll be following the Techsters hoping they can take the long road back to win the region.
We lost in the regional finals to SFA. The action this weekend was actually streamed. Watched about five minutes or so, not a Tech match though.
Bowling is one activity where we can compete on a national level. The top ranked team is a school named McKendree. Had to look them up, but McKendree University is a school with about 2,300 undergraduate students in Lebanon, IL.
These are true student/athletes. It looked like any bowling alley on a league night, except no drinking. They had on uniforms and were high fiving each other after every ball. They were their own cheerleaders, and they were having a fun time. We need to really get some traction with this team. Pour in a few more resources, recruit a little better and we can win some national championships.
