Lots of high school students, football players, band, cheer and parents coming to Tech.

He made a (fair) joke that all the schools playing are auditioning for membership in CUSA. ULM isn't going to get many chances for shots at Tech, but that's about as good as they could hope for.

He also pointed out that he was joking and hates that they're losing the event.

Video board usabe and Public Address is neutered with no university PR.
No media SID types available in the pressbox doing stats and stuff.
It's simply a 120-yard by 53.3-yard piece of turf to used for 6 high school scrimmages.
No host university chest beating.

Exactly. This will be a big opportunity for LA Tech to showcase our facilities and our campus to many High School players and player-parents, that may have otherwise never made the journey to Ruston and LA Tech.

All these schools are within 2 hours of Ruston. Hopefully any player who is decent at least makes a visit.
