I'm happy they won something but I just can't get excited about all the bragging we get about a second-place trophy.

I'm glad they made some progress this year and won something, but having a special celebration for second place tells me they have their bar(s) set entirely too low. Spend that money on recruiting trips if you really want to keep building.

Seems pretty obvious you haven't followed the Women's Basketball at LaTech long. A preseason and post season banquet has been held annually since the late 70s (except for 2019, and Covid years 2020 &2021).

It doesn't take a 50-year supporter to see that calling it a "special celebration" for second place is small-time when this particular program has the history that it does. I guess we'll just continue to embrace the mediocrity. Have fun at the party.
