Elon is funny but I can't help but be cynical that he's protecting his meme stock interests

Fun to watch the groomers freak out about it though

Maybe Goldman's target will be hit when Elon dumps his shares! Then they can say "told ya so".

That's too much to pay for CNN, btw.

Don't understand why Musk is spending so much time with this Twitter stuff. Doesn't he have $multi-billion companies to run?

BTW, had a thought, the cannabis industry gives new meaning to "growth stocks."

When this whole thing went down.. the WaPo had an opinion piece that said basically the mega rich should not own or control media companies... The complete lack of self awareness is amazing... You can't make this stuff up..

I assume you figured out why the offer ended in "420"! Musk is quite a character.

Guess he'll be at Hippie Hill next Wednesday. He's such a card.

OK, I have to ask. What are his meme stocks?

DOGE and TSLA come to mind. I think the SEC investigated him over TSLA.

Don't get me wrong, the SEC is just as corrupt and weaponized as any other 3 letter org.

On the other hand, Elon has dropped some lines recently that make me think he's at least exposed to some fruitful ideas. For example, calling the State the largest monopoly with the monopoly on violence is a pretty specific reference.
