Well it appears that the war is being won by leftists and progressives.. Latest Wall Street Journal Poll shows traditional values like patriotism, God, etc. are at lowest levels ever..

Only 38% feel Patriotism is very important... down from 70% in 1998.

Only 39% feel Religion is important down from 62% 25 years ago..

We hollowed out (or allowed someone else to hollow out) everything that patriotism or God meant and now people are abandoning them because they are empty. There's not a lot of time left to turn things around if its even possible.
