''Don't be a bad dagh..."
I’m hoping to see a little more experimentation in our line-up by shuffling the batting order some and for finding someone else to play at 2nd base. I know Elliott plays his position very well defensively, but we all know that his offensive productivity is nonexistent. If nothing else Elliott needs to sit one out to flush his bad vibe and to give the rest of the team a break from the tension they have to be feeling batting around him. Whether you on base in front of him or batting behind him our guys have to feel that he won’t get it done because he hasn’t been getting it done. Who knows, sitting Elliott or replacing him outright could be the one key thing that might spark Tech to a late season big winning run. Let’s at least test the waters against UALR to see.
Based on the comments on the radio show Monday night, I don't expect any lineup changes other than Myers if he is able to go.
For the record, Elliott is now exactly at .200 for the year. He was batting .280 after getting a single in his first AB in game 3 in Hattiesburg. Since then he is in a 1-38 slump with only a double in his first AB of game 2 at Marshall, making him hitless in his last 21 at-bats.
Lineup is in but not posted on Elon's new toy yet. There is a shakeup, but not what many might want.
Young (SS), Matulia (1B), Netterville (RF), McConnell (CF), Corona (C), Myers (LF), Burchfield (DH), McLeod (3B), Elliott (2B). Martinez starting.
ETA...Finally posted.

Finally the radio intro starts....
Teddy by cell phone since the internet equipment isn't working again.
Nobody addressed the need to have a backup broadcast method when there isn't adequate internet. If the USM series wasn't enough to wake somebody up.....
