The mistake as Burroughs just admitted was not pinch-hitting Lancaster for Berch when the bases were loaded with just 1 out. I would have tried a squeeze with Berch. Low percentage for Elliott to beat out a bunt with 2 out.
The player meeting sparks Tech to win 2 that after the loss to UALR and the effortless Friday loss I was in doubt of. If we can keep Burroughs from fumbling a pitching decision, we may have a chance to win a few. You’d think this series win will inspire the Dawgs to go on a big run. We’ll see... fingers crossed.
It's been fluctuating since our game ended, but as I type this our RPI is sitting at #39.
RPI now sitting at 40.
40 as of right now with Marshall and HBU games still in progress. Could sneak back up to 39 or maybe down to 42 depending on those and possibly other results. Beats 60 where it was late in yesterday's game.
And as I type this HBU takes the lead on UIW in the bottom of the 7th.
