LA Tech Opens Series With Old Dominion Friday Night

I reckon Frisco and BBB will be our best option for getting game updates. Our AD should focus on doing what he is getting paid to do with our own crap instead of throwing away his time and our time with the NCAA while representing Judy and CUSA.

We have a lineup with a different DH (Brantley batting 8) and a new 2B (Berch batting 9). Hope the Berch move doesn't backfire on defense.

.1000 defense is better than sub .200 offense? I don't think so. Playing with an auto out every 2.5 innings is never good.
.200 batter (Berch) vs .194 batter (Elliott). 9 chances defensively (Berch) vs 141 (Elliott). We'll see.
Come on man. Playing with 8 batters (7 if #44 keeps up his pace) is a recipe for defeat.
I wouldn't count more than 7.5 until Berch proves himself more. One Berch error on defense will kill this experiment.
I said Elliott shouldn't be pulled until he dropped below the Mendoza line. He's there now, so I'm game for this change and hope it works. My concern is more about the defensive side.

I doubt it’ll be any errors on Tech’s part that beat us. It’ll be their run scoring homers and our too numerous strike outs.

I don’t get it why Burroughs won’t bunt a lead off runner over when we’ve got someone as weak as Brantley batting. A strikeout is a total waste.
Bunting is a lost art. 5 SH by Tech and just 9 by opponents in the first 42 Tech games.
Surprised Berch didn't try to bunt for a hit once McLeod got to second.
