The one who contributed on defense turned the double play to get Tomkins out of the jam that Fincher created. Burroughs said that might have been the play of the game today.

Burroughs needs to stick with the defense/batting order used today at least until Tech loses again. And he needs to keep Fouts coaching at third.

That’s an interesting point... Something else could be the signs to the batters and base runners and just the level of energy conveyed to everyone concerned. Burroughs doesn’t exactly beam enthusiasm from 3rd base.
