The Softball team has now moved up to a tie with North Texas for the overall 1 seed. They are 15-6 and we are 14-6 in conference. We have the tie breaker over them with a series win against them.
We need to finish the sweep over MTSU today and try to sweep Southern Miss (9-11) next weekend. UNT still has to play Marshall (tied with WKU for the top in the East at 13-7.
Remarkable what this team has done this year! Our chances are VERY good at going into the tournament as the #1 overall seed.
When a team improves during the season it is a sign of good coaching.

Way to go Techsters! Tied with UNT for first and we have the tie breaker. One more weekday game against ULM, then we need to sweep Southern Miss! What a turn around for this program this year!

Saturday's game has been moved to noon so you have time to take in some softball before going to baseball.
