For the rest of you, the team has done a good job of avoiding LOB, with two exceptions thus far. But the great pitching has covered all our woes, to this point. Gee who is it who has posted a million times, the three keys to winning in baseball:

In two games our pitchers have been awesome. The team, as a whole, has been adequate, which is all that is usually needed when the pitching is kicking butt. We shall see what the weekend brings.

Congratulations to the Dawgs in general. The real get it done guys on this team are shining as bright as ever. Yes, there are a few who aren’t at their best right now but they’ll have their moments soon enough. When the tournament started I felt good about Tech winning the whole thing and I still do. Our way through it was always going to be the toughest path. That’s just how it goes for Tech. I’m still highly confident that the Dawgs are going to completely ruin USM’s exit from CUSA‘s pre-staged send off party. Go Dawgs, chew em up!
Here is the ideal situation: We defeat ODU/CLT at 9am tomorrow and whoever loses Game 8 (USM/UTSA) comes out of the bottom bracket. That team would be playing it's 5th game in 3 days as they would play again tonight vs. FAU, and have to win twice tomorrow.
Why do you think TY should bat 3rd? He seems to be really good at lead off to me, can't think of anybody better suited for it. But I'm open to hearing your argument. My adjustment would be to move McConnell to 2nd and Corona to 4th.
