The issue is definitely money with OU. Texas could afford it, but it would make things at least a bit uncomfortable.
Texas may not want to admit it, but for them it is about being able to compete week-to-week against SEC competition on the football field. Can't say that with home losses to teams like Kansas. They need two if not all three years left just to get close to SEC level.
