Under Burroughs, La Tech in 2021 hosted regionals for the first time ever and in 2022 won the Conference USA Tournament.

As is I stated on the "other" board...if he's gone, he's gone...thank him, wish him the best, and move on...Gaspard would likely have the inside track, but I trust Dr EW to make a thorough search and correct hire...I would think the interest level would be pretty good this time...pawdawg, I don't listen to the morning drive, but, if that's true, then there's a sign for you...if the player's are that high on MG, then he'll be the likely one...would have no issue with Christian Ostrander, but i don't think he leaves USM...and, there could be other interested parties that come out of "left field" so to speak...none of this surprises me as far as others looking at LB, comes with our territory.....it will all work out fine...

LB would be a fool to turn down an offer from Baylor, or from any P5 school. He's not that good and if Baylor is interested, he better jump on the most assuredly generous salary offer. The cupboard is bare heading into next season...barring some significant recruiting, transfers-in...and there's a good chance Tech won't have an exciting season next year which would mean LB would slip right back under the radar for the big boys. If Baylor wants him, he better jump at it now.
