With teams announcing when they will be active in their new conferences, was it ever made public how much the teams leaving C-USA had to pay? I remember the commish trying to keep it hush-hush, but not sure if the actual buyout was ever publicized.

Brett McMurphy reported $1.75 million per school
Horrible deal structure by our idiot commission and the spineless presidents…I suppose I should be more positive and enjoy the screwing we took.
The rumor is that the 3 schools leaving for the Belt were forgoing their CUSA revenue this year and then paying $1.75 million next year. If true, that means the 3 will be giving up all of their cash revenue from their first year in the Belt, including NCAA distributions and CFP distribution.
That number is a very similar number had each stayed in CUSA until June 30, 2023 and given up their CUSA distribution.
I'd be willing to bet that none of the exit turds would admit to such a bad decision on their part.
I'd also be willing to bet that McMurphy, Judy, our president, nor our AD would tell the truth if asked directly. Ask them a close ended question and you get word salad.
Time for one of these https://www.foia.gov/how-to.html
If CUSA came out ahead, we would all know it.
