Every stinking time we get a P5 at home we end up dropping it or moving it for a lesser game. Why do we even bother with one-for-ones or two-for-ones with P5 programs if we're never going to bother playing the return games or refuse to prioritize them over crappier games?

Baylor dropped for an AWAY game. MSU moved so we can go to UMASS (UMASS!?!?!?!?). For Kansas, we'd apparently rather just go there every time. NC State moving for an away game (could we really not make the dates work on this? or just play @ LSU in another year?).

We (fans) can accept that it's a lot harder to get a P5 to Ruston than a G5. Sure. I buy that. But then every time we do we act like it's not important. And maybe it's the other school driving this every time, but it sure looks like it's mostly on us. I know P5s have a history of buying out of away games to G5 stadiums (like how we're ending up at Missouri this year to begin with) but we can't complain about that if we're backing out all the time, too.

As was mentioned above, remember who was AD when all of these P5 "deals" that have been changed were set up.

And we dropped the ball on Baylor two years ago when we couldn't show up in Waco. That one shouldn't be part of this discussion.

Stop giving away home P5 games for away games! It's not as bad as the MSU at home for a road game at UMass thing (although at least we did still get to host that game, which I'm skeptical will happen here) but were there really no other rich teams willing to pay us to come play them some other week? LSU doesn't have any other OOC games scheduled for September of that 2025 but even if they just insisted that they needed something for week 2, why does it have to be us? Surely plenty of P5 teams would pay us this much to come play them the next week. Or mid-season (with an odd number of conference teams, we'll have a mid-season bye week I'd think).

I know people who live in Louisiana like for us to play LSU, and it's fine and all but to give up a good home game for it sucks.
