To me finishing 9th would be a huge disappointment. First year or not for Cumbie I’m expecting a lot better than this.
Playing against powerhouses UAB, UTSA, Middle, and Western, how can you expect anything better than 2nd or 3rd from last? Unreasonable.

I agree with the statements above. No way do we not come out worse than in the top 3 - we may even do better than that. I hope Cumbie and this team beat all the predictions!!!!!!

These predictions are based largely on last years performance . Remember last year, in the what was unanimously thought of as the worst football conference of the FBS? Out of 14 teams only one team finished with a worse record than us. I think we will be better this year. How much? That is yet to be determined.
I think we go bowling this year, at the least. This squad has talent and a breath of fresh air to this offense was vastly needed. I think after working out some kinks, we’ll throw up some 40+ point performances
You may well be right and I am hopeful that is the case like have been suspecting for some time.
