Skippy used the word "compete" when he should have just been saying "didn't quit". Compete implies being competitive, and Tech wasn't competitive far too often in games that it should have been under his watch.

Players can "try" without being competitive, and that's what happened with Tech Thursday night after the first quarter. Definitely noticed a different attitude on the sideline from the top down.

Ali says, "Honey, Superman doesn't need a seatbelt."

Flight attendant says, "Champ, Superman doesn't need a plane, so please buckle up." Ali sheepishly buckles up.

Probably a joke, but funny either way.
