Will Scott Frost have a job Monday? I know Ga So is a good team, but these schools aren’t supposed to lose to App St or Ga So.
Sunbelt with the trifecta. Never has this happened before. GSU beats Nebraska. Frost on the clock to be fired.
Frost may be gone now. Freeman's seat in South Bend is getting uncomfortably warm. And Aggieland may be collecting timber for a bonfire just for Jimbo.
Probably, but nothing is for sure. He will get to suffer the blowout loss to Oklahoma next week, then fired in the bye week is how I would handle it. But not surprised if the gets the axe tonight or tomorrow morning though.
Edit: Frost's buyout drops $7.5 million on October 1.
If there is any school in the country who could pull that money out, A&M would be it. Jimbo needs some big conference wins this year or the offseason could get very interesting.
Miami and Arkansas are next before back-to-back road games at Mississippi State and Alabama. Anything less than 4-2 for the Aggies at their open date on October 15 could be a big problem for Jimbo.
Arkansas is good and Bama is Saban, I mean Bama. They will lose 2 of the next 4.
Okay, why is the Horns' down gesture so upsetting to the T-sips?
Not that I care, just curious.
Nevada and Bowling Green lost to FCS teams. Nevada lost to Incarnate Word.
The portal and this no-holds-barred transfer stuff and spreading the talent wealth and creating a more level playing field.
There was actually more misses by the game officials than just those two. In the 3rd Qtr the Texas defense sacked Bama QB Bryce Young in the end zone on 3rd down, and I still don't understand how UT didn't end up with a safety? The referees got all wrapped around the axel reviewing the play for targeting --which made no sense at all-- and ultimately ruled it was NOT targeting. But Young's leg was down before his pass attempt, and so was his left elbow. Nobody --not even the TV announcers-- even acknowledged the fact that Bryce Young's leg was ON THE GROUND before his pass attempt.
Mind you, this info is coming from a guy (me) that is NOT a fan of the Texas Longhorns. But even a "UT hater" like me could see that Texas got screwed out of points at least 3 times by game officials yesterday. Here's the play:
Look at the 0:56 mark:
