Glad to see it on the calendar. Ours is a good regional rivalry.
Glad to see it. I hope we stick to this new scheduling philosophy.
We need to keep Rice, UNT, USM in our OOC G5 rotation.
I was very happy to read this today. This series needs to continue. Best of luck on the field this year Dogs. Will be pulling for you.
Why is it good for us to play them?
Seriously what do we gain?
IMO, this game will be the one I won’t want to miss. Our conference games will be pretty pitiful. I hope all sports can keep scheduling.
You could make a case for the ULX twins. ULL we've played more often. ULM is closer.
I like it when we play UNT, SMU, Rice because they're close, we recruit around there, and there is a little bit of history.
Memphis hasn't been interested in playing us since the 50s. I'd be interested in that, but it's not a rival.
The ducking out on the conference thing is just more fuel to the rivalry. That ought to make us want to beat them more, but you've got to play them to beat them.
And even if you'd rather play all those teams than USM, that would still put them in the top ten schools for a home-and-home.
