Finally a performance that didn’t feel like the Dawgs were playing with a restrictor in place. We need to learn to play all out brand of football from start to finish because there are games coming when that will be needed. It’s clear now that we have a #1 QB and that’s pretty much it. Its funny how things go that the season’s starting QB hasn’t really shown it in real game situations. For whatever reason things aren’t going his way. I sure would like to see Hebert used more often. He’s a very capable guy and a lot faster than people think. Now the big question will be can we actually play up to a higher level of opponent next weekend? It’s been a long time since the last time. It sure would be nice. Go Dawgs!

I will post again, Griffin Hebert should be our #1, go-to receiver. I thought it was just goofy Holtz holding Hebert back, but Cumbie is doing the same thing. He's an NFL-quality receiver, yet he hardly sees the field. I don't get it.

Would have been nice to give Crosby a carry or two in the 3rd qtr just so he could have finished with 200+ yards for the game.

I didn’t realize SFA was a ranked FCS team.

Preseason. 1-2 record with only a comeback win again Alcorn State (and Aaron Allen at QB) won't hold any water in the next ranking. Lumberjacks got drummed by Jacksonville State (future Tech C-USA opponent) in their opener.

At the pace that GH is on, he’ll have 1,000 yards receiving and 10+ TDs this year.

AMEN. Kid is flat out baller. Second week in a row he has torched multiple players at once. Help me out here…what was the game last year he caught it on the 5-10 yard line and literally dragged a couple of players in to score a TD?

Last offensive play for Tech in this game was probably the number one highlight of Hebert’s career.

Had forgotten what an entertaining game it was, back and forth.
