I havent posted political views, liberal or otherwise, on this board in years.
But I have taken your advice to heart. And after further reflection, I have determined that the reason that the board is dead is, in fact, me.
I'm confident that this community will be able to prosper and thrive once again without my presence running people off.
Champ please do not leave. You’re on the money with your post. This board was a place I came to as a youngin’ for some Tech news and updates. Not so much anymore.. lots of negativity and..dare I say… old man grumpiness.
Terms like MAGAtards, Demwits, Libtards, MAGAts, Conservaturds, or anything else do not belong in the sports discussions.
And that is something that makes it insufferable to read things. We aren’t here for political opinions and name-calling.
Old man moment, and I wanna chase a quick rabbit, please: I miss the old BB&B. I miss the swag, I miss the camaraderie, I miss the discussions.
"Back in the day" the BB&B was freaking LEGENDARY. For our TECH Fans, we were the funniest, craziest, don't-take-ourselves-too-seriously, place to learn about all things Tech. For fans of other schools, we were featured almost daily ON THEIR FAN BOARDS for our wild 'delusion', 'arrogance', and outrageous commentary.
Whatever the reasons, the board isn't nearly as active, and yeah, I miss it.
