Lots of decisions to be made before the portal opens on the 5th. How many G5 jobs become available this week?

Will we lose anyone to the portal? What should we be looking for in the portal?

We need speed and athleticism on defense. We have guys starting now that couldn’t start at a lot of FCS programs.

Why? Getting dirt rolled a few times by Liberty might be what it takes for us to realize we are a baseball school.

We’re a baseball school today but just give the Tech administrators some time and there’s a really good chance they’ll ruin that for another decade or longer. You know Tech we’re only allowed to be good at one or maybe two things at a time.

That’s curious. Why would a championship coach quit after one season? Unless of course he’s a one trick pony and he knows it. Holtz knows it’s better to get a 5 year contract with a university so he can coach one or two years then coast the rest and leave with a buyout in his pocket.

Tech is an engineering school. We use to be a women's basketball school, but we gave up on that.

He will make at 10 times more per year at UAB. USFL only pays its players $45-55k per year, how much can their coaches make? Estimates are $100k per season.

Or he totally destroys UAB. They never make it into a Power 5 conference. USF would probably be heading to the Big 12 if not for their hiring of Holtz.
