About 200 Palestinians dead and another 1,600+ wounded by Israeli counterstrikes. Israeli military spokesman said this is war, not some limited response to the terrorist attacks. If true, it's about time. But, I suspect this is all blustering rhetoric in the wake of the dastardly, cowardly attacks by Hamas. After a few days, maybe a week, of fighting and many more hundreds killed/wounded the "war" will subside and then some ceasefire agreed to, and then back to the uneasy peace again.
If I am wrong, then Israel needs to take the gloves off and not stop the fighting, no matter what. Don't listen to calls for a ceasefire from the wimps around the world. Tune out those screaming about all the poor Palestinians being killed. If this is war, declare it and win it.

The absolutely terrified look on the young woman's face is heartbreaking. They are in the mid-20's, were at a party, an engagement party for some friends, I think the report said. Hamas evil thugs showed up in two pickup trucks armed with AK-47s and other weapons, they shot some of the guests, most seemed to be able to get away, and the thugs grabbed some hostages.
Biden is to blame for a large part of this as his administration's appeasement of Iran, as well as cutting domestic oil production has allowed Iran to realize a windfall from oil profits and to fund terrorists like Hamas. Biden is talking tough now, saying the US will stand with Israel, but the moron is clueless to the role he has played helping to make these attacks possible.
FoxNews is reporting now 9 Americans have been killed, and they are also reporting that many people have been taken hostage by Hamas, including Americans. Apparently Corey Booker was jogging in Israel when the rocket attacks started and had to take cover in the basement of some hotel along with many others. He is outraged and tweeted his support for Israel on twitter. The squad will not like that tweet.

The reports, the videos, are disturbing. I suppose you have all seen them, and after seeing what those pieces of shit did, how can anyone hold Israel to any kind of humane standard and expect them to conduct themselves in some ethical military operation?
Only...the bad guys have us at a disadvantage. They never hesitate to commit heinous crimes, but we have moral standards....hell! even the German soldiers stopped slaughtering innocent people which led to Himler's (not Hitler's) Final Solution of the creation of the killing camps, with the gas chambers. Early on regular German soldiers were ordered to murder civilians, but it made them sick, so German field commanders refused to carry out the slaughters. But, these assholes, these islamic extremists harbor no such moral standards. Do you know the extent of the disgusting actions of ISIS during their reign of terror? If you don't know then do yourself a favor and not look it up.
BTW, just learned my nephew is on the ground in Israel. He has returned to active duty, giving up his cushy slot at the Pentagon, in favor of a field command as he needed the extra experience to get promoted to full colonel. He is presently a lt. colonel. His wife was not happy with his decision as they had grown comfortable in their nice Virginia home, and off he goes to the Middle East. He has been mostly in Jordan, with excursions into Syria and Iraq. This morning his unit was ordered to Israel...you can guess why.
I've been wondering, how was Hamas able to amass so many rockets (5K according to some estimates) without some intelligence agency somewhere knowing?
Can't they buy such rockets at a local Walmart, as long as they show some kind of ID?

Iran denies supplying Hamas, but then a Hamas leader holds a press conference and publicly thanks Iran for their support, including supplying the rockets and other weapons. Ooops! dem boys should have got their story straight.
Reports are extremely disturbing of how Hamas terrorists pulled families from their homes going door to door and killing them. Children 4 or 5 years old. Also reports of babies up to 40 who were killed and some beheaded. This is pure evil.

The CIA has confirmed the reports that Hamas was trained by the Wagner Group, who were on the ground in Gaza a couple of months ago. Mostly the training centered on the use of drones and small unit commando tactics. Said Wagner operatives came from Africa, not the Russian chapter. Time to eliminate the Wagner organization and arrest all those who have supported it financially, and that includes George Soros.
Two US ships, the USS Bataan and the USS Carney were fired upon off the Yemen coast. Houthi rebels launched missiles and sent drones to attack the two ships. All of the projectiles were successfully intercepted, no damage, no casualties at all. The Houthi rebels are another terrorist group supported by Iran. The leader of the Houthi made an announcement days ago that if the US tried to intervene in the war in Gaza, war would be declared on the US, wherever US troops/assets were in the world. Appears he has made good on that threat.
What now Sleepy Joe? Maybe you can send Hunter with a $billion to pay off the Houthi rebels.
US army bases in Iraq and Syria were attacked by drones, but all of them were shot down. No specific group has claimed credit for this, yet.
