A whopping 53%, 8 of 15, from the FT line. New season, same old issues.

    59-56 over Arkie State?

Smaller ball and still a lower percentage than our guys team. That’s rough.

Yes, just pointing out that it’s really bad when the ball is smaller and you shoot worse than the bulldogs.

The Lady Techsters have got to stop coming out of the locker room so slow. They got behind 16-7 in the 1st quarter, and let ASU go on a 9-2 run to start the 3rd Qtr. So essentially they had to play from behind all night.

That was a problem last year too. Plus, if they are ahead, they are not as aggressive in the quarter - which allows teams to come back on them. We were cruising in the 3rd quarter (strong out of the halftime) and mounted a big comeback. We slacked off in the second part of the 4th and let them get back in it.

The big exception last year was when the Lady T's played Charlotte in the CUSA Tournament FINAL Championship game in Frisco. In that one, the Lady T's got a 15 pt lead, but had a horrible 2nd half, and lost the game, 68-63, and the championship.

Very true... Maybe the key IS being behind in the first quarter or the first half. As long as it is in single digits, they get fired up....
