Unless we just have a horrible game OR if ULM is VERY improved, we should start the season 3-0. No game is ever a given, though. We just have twice the talent on our roster compared to them. I am hoping this game will get us ready for SMU.

I watched the game and was super impressed with our new player from Italy and Brannon. Walker is quiet so far and Anna Lar just keeps being steady. It was definitely a game of runs and we were not consistent. Saying that, we did respond each time they made a run. Brooke got a technical in the second half during one of ULM's runs and that seemed to be well timed to fire us up for the rest of the game. We do need consistency, but we definitely have some talent and a coach that makes some great adjustments not only during the half, but during the game.

ULM has several good players and should win some games on their talent alone. Not too impressed with ULM's coach.

What I did not see was intensity on defense by Tech. Maybe a few possessions, but overall we played a lot of "matador defense" and just kind of waved at an ULM player going in for a layup or chippy shot. That won't get it done in tougher conference games to come.

We did shoot 73% from the FT line, not great but better than the last outing.
