Never should have been the play call.

it was there. There was only one defender on that side. The o lineman didn't get vertical, he keep running toward the sideline so it was an easy play for the defender. Lyddy should have thrown it away instead of trying to float it over the defender's head, but if the lineman runs the route right, it was an easy first down.

........especially when you're on the opponents' 3 yd line, and only 6 pts behind. It was STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!

By my count, the LA Tech offense has been inside the opponents' 20-yd line 3 times now, and came away with ZERO points. No team can afford to do that over and over.

2006 team quit on Bicknell because that end had arrived. This team is just making too many bonehead mistakes at critical times.

Results may seem as bad or worse now than 2006, but the circumstances don't compare.
