Drew Brees to coach Purdue in prep for their bowl vs. LSU. Oh jeeez! LSU/Saints fans will call him a traitor, even though it's his alma mater, which MOST LSU fans are clueless about. Most tigger fans call Walmart their alma mater.

Drew Brees to coach Purdue in prep for their bowl vs. LSU. Oh jeeez! LSU/Saints fans will call him a traitor, even though it's his alma mater, which MOST LSU fans are clueless about. Most tigger fans call Walmart their alma mater.

Talk about making lemonade out of lemons in regards to their coaching change. When they made this announcement earlier this week they said Drew will be an on the field coach, which means he can recruit players. Nice little advantage having an all-time NFL great and alum as a recruiter. Will be interesting to see if he is able to effectively help Purdue’s recruiting class.

When he went for it on fourth down (and unnecessarily burned a timeout) on their last possession showed me that he was ready to move on to Texas State.

Agreed! snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, failed to win a championship....perfect for Tech.

That said, I'll take him over Coach Crummy, and take our chances. No doubt Texas State now has a better coach than us, which ain't saying much though.
