Interesting. Great timing on his part after signing day with lots of QB’s still in the portal with no future in sight. I don’t really see him getting another FBS shot. Maybe FCS.

Funny how some here were upset that he didn’t redshirt. I think another said he would transfer to LSU anyway because they will need a QB next year. Redshirt, LSU. LOL.

I admit, I was wrong about LSU at the QB position. They are strong at least 2 deep. If we had played him from day 1, would he have stayed here? Would we have had better outcomes? That’s totally speculative at this point. The only evidence we have are the games he started that didn’t go very well.

Isn’t it obvious that the transfer portal is a window into what a country of babies and quitters we’re becoming? As a whole people don’t really want to work for anything anymore. Government has made it too easy for the masses to get something for nothing and now athletics is following suit. If a player will quit his school because of who is on the team, his in-house competition, then he’ll just as likely quit his team because of falling behind in a game. Sports are no longer making men out of boys, institutions are making people without character.

How/why the heck are we losing a local boy who "always wanted to be a Bulldog" to UAB, of all schools? What's going on in Ruston? Are we losing because of the HC or the conferrence or maybe because we aren't able to pay NIL???? As are a lot of others, I'm alarmed.

Losing to Tulane was a much bigger loss than this. He will wind up being Jack Abraham at best.
