Vandy is a strange one this year. They beat WKU and came close to beating #11 NC State. They have, also, lost to some not good teams - St. Josephs and Northern Iowa.
They are coached by ex-UConn player Shea Ralph. There are many of us that remember her when the Techsters and UConn were battling it out for a few years. She was an excellent player and went on to be Asst. at UConn to several National Championships with Geno. She played against Brooke in a couple of games, I believe. Should be a good test and pretty difficult.

Well, we were close. Fell short.
Shouldn't have even been close when Tech had a 12-point lead with 1:12 left in the third quarter. Let Vandy hang around and made enough bonehead turnovers at the wrong time to lose the game.
One turnover in particular caused the OT. I am unsure how we lost in OT - it was like we were really rattled. They had a shallow bench and their big fouled out. This is one that we should have won.Originally Posted by FriscoDawg
