We have a prime example in one of our senators. He came out early opposed to the closed primary thing in Louisiana...knew he could not get the GOP nomination because he is such a Trump hater.
GOP loses Santos' seat. Yes sir! another WTF loss by the Repubs. I think this is just to fill the duration of Santos' term and the seat will be up for election again in November. Still, another SNAFU.
And get this, the dem won on the issue of "the southern border crisis." Can't fix stupid and NY voters are as stupid as they come.
At this point, if you believe a democrat will ever vote for anything that actually helps at our borders, you don’t need to be voting.
Repub congressmen are "retiring" in droves. I say "retiring" in quotes because I'm not sure they are doing that, or just being rats deserting the sinking ship. Wouldn't surprise me to see the GOP lose the House this fall. No way they should, but the inept RNC and the GOP in general are so stupid it boggles the mind.
There's a YouTuber named "Red Eagle" who tracks and tries to predict election cycles, trends, etc...he is wrong 100% of the time in his overall analysis and predictions. He's always WAY too optimistic and he also makes the mistake of applying common sense to the political process. Nope, can't do that. Right now he is predicting a GOP sweep in November, keeping the House and liberating the WH and the Senate. I hope he's right, but frankly, I just don't see it happening. And most of all HE SHOULD BE RIGHT! The dems are wrecking this country and one would think voters are ready for a real change. But, that's where the analysis goes off the track...if you "think" it should happen. That requires a brain and at least half the voters lack one.
GOP Rep Mike Gallagher has resigned. Damn, where does the GOP find so many stupid people? This nation, indeed the free world is doomed.

Several Republicans are really Democrats, but ZERO Democrats are really Republicans. There's our problem.
We keep giving them more. They keep taking and don't give ANYTHING.

They are now treating trillions like they did billions back in the day.
I’m not sure how many today are fiscal conservatives. Republicans( some) have moved to the left. It’s frustrating to see .
