We had Fubo. Good service at first because it started at $54/month when we got it. Then it ballooned to $87.99 I think. Ditched it.

This mess shows just how powerless and insignificant Tech football is. That's some 3-game agreement. The one game supposedly scheduled for Ruston is postponed to 2034, LOL! What a frickin' joke we are. We all know that 2034 game will NEVER happen in Ruston, and probably not at all. And all of this coddling to the likes of NC State!??? They are not exactly an elite, powerhouse in football. Pathetic...
And that paltry $350K payment...OMG! they pay lowly, crappy FCS schools that kind of money. Who negotiated this mess for Tech? Another empty suit, I'm sure.
That would have been TMac. Football. LA Tech Football Announces Three-Game Series with NC State - latechsports.c (latechbbb.com) Our loyal posters were saying this was a bad deal when it happened. The 2034 game was originally schedule for 2025, but the 9-game ACC schedule moved it.
Tech will be guaranteed $1.1 million for its 2021 visit to N.C. State, a fair market value meeting before the teams begin a home-and-home series 2024 and 2025. To make room for that road game, Louisiana Tech athletic director Tommy McClelland told the News-Star Monday that the moved the 2021 home date with Baylor to Week 3 of the 2023 season.
You won't even be able to get a loaf of bread for 1.1 million in 2034.
If our OOC is NWST, USM, and ULL that is our top three all-time most played opponents. Something like 220 games between us and that group. That's what you want OOC when your most-played conference foe is right at 20ish games.
If we really wanted to maximize historical number of matchups we'd try to get LSU or MSU for the money game that season.
