Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. WKU
This team is just plain bad on situational awareness.
Willis receives an offensive inbounds pass with no clue the shot clock was at 3 seconds and then takes an off balance 3-pointer a second or so too early at the end of the half leading to Tech being down by 2. And he is by no means the only player who hasn't had a clue in critical game situations this year.
Have to chalk that up to the coaching staff not focusing on details.

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. WKU
Outside of FAU, the pack is getting tighter. A Tech win would mean a tie for 5th, while a loss drops Tech to a tie for 8th.
@Middle Tennessee 62 Charlotte 58
FAU 83 @UTSA 64
Rice 72 @North Texas 60
@UTEP 81 FIU 61

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. WKU
Another bad situational play by Tech allowed the game to get to OT, but an OT shutout on defense is never a bad thing.
Tech 85-74 in OT.
FAU 8-0
North Texas 6-3
Middle Tennessee 5-3
Rice 5-3
Tech 4-4
UAB 4-4
UTEP 4-4
WKU 3-5
Charlotte 3-5
FIU 2-6
UTSA 1-8

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. WKU
Final score was 86-74, apparently Tech was awarded a 3-pointer when only 2 was originally tallied.
Mediocre...in fact, better than that, we are VERY MEDIOCRE. The talent is mediocre and the coaching...whoa! That is mediocre only on a good night.
I like Cobe and Isiah Crawford and they are both GOOD players who would be very good back-ups on a great team. But, they are the best we have, our go-to guys, and they are both up and down. Have flashes of brilliance followed by some not-so-good plays. Like all of you I have followed I. Crawford's Tech career, littered with injuries and missed games, and now I am rooting for him to remain healthy and finish this season, his career, strong. We definitely need him to step up his game and deliver night after night, like he did in the OT last night.
After we fell behind 57-47 the Dawgs turned up the defensive heat and played fairly well. Of course, after building a 9-point lead, we couldn't stand it and just had to allow WKU back in the game. Typical...
Go Dawgs! Beat...anybody!

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. WKU
The correct final score was 85-74 as the last FG made by Cobe that was clearly a 2-pointer was incorrectly credited as a 3 at first. The game story linked by the bot also has the correct score as 85-74.

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. WKU
That was the best I’ve seen I Crawford perform since his comeback. He was on fire.
