Looking forward to the game to start any minute now. Maybe by halftime?

It's not pretty...IF we win, I'll have a little more faith...but I'm not seeing anything impressive other than MTSU right now.
Not looking good at halftime. I haven’t been able to watch, but the score suggests a buttkicking in progress.
Lots of spectators on defense watching the Blue Raiders shoot 3s in the first half.
Trying to make a bit of a run after getting down 20. But just now another MT 3 with the closest Tech defender having to run out to get the shooter after the catch from inside the lane. Might as well not even play defense if there are going to be holes in it that big.
MT 10 of 19 from 3 at the 2nd half under 12 media timeout.
And Tech won't get back in this one trying to make low percentage hero plays.
That has been a theme of this team. A lot of these players are having the same effect on the game that I am from my couch
Tech died by the 3 with 3 for 21.
Just 3 assists for Tech, none in the second half. Shows that Tech was not hitting open shots, not getting easy shots, and was only scoring playing 1-on-1 street ball. That won't get it done against a team with any coaching at all.
No surprise that the team is getting worse. This is another instance of Tech hiring the wrong coach.
20 games isn't a large enough sample size to determine if the wrong coach was hired, but games like today definitely don't help the case to disprove that assertion.
So much for anybody defending the homecourt in C-USA today, and FAU can make it a clean road sweep by winning in El Paso.
FIU 77 @UTSA 72
NT 63 @UAB 52
Charlotte 75 @WKU 71
FAU 67 @UTEP 59
FAU 9-0
North Texas 7-3
Middle Tennessee 6-3
Rice 5-3
Tech 4-5
UAB 4-5
Charlotte 4-5
UTEP 4-5
WKU 3-6
FIU 3-6
UTSA 1-9
I just wonder if I’ll live to see a Tech basketball team make the Dance?
This was bad basketball -
Really bad basketball
No effort
We are clueless coming off of time-outs and dead ball situations - almost a guaranteed turnover or bad shot (that's coaching folks)
No defensive intensity whatsoever
Before the season Hester stated that he would not have as much of a disciplined offensive approach as his predecessor and it would be more isolation - well it ain't working
MTSU probably avg 7 passes a possession to get a wide open shot with lots of movement and screening (when there wasn't a total defensive breakdown)
It was a really hard watch - I was surprised that most of the crowd hung around to the bitter end
This team has become a hard watch -
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
As I maintain, I can only pray that we didn’t hire a coach to appease players.
That type of hire rarely works out. Hiring to appease in the era of the transfer portal is dumb.
You hire to build your program.
7 uncontested 3s due to lack of effort and lack of communication according to Hester.
He says those things shouldn't have to be coached and his staff should be coaching technique and the opponent. I completely disagree with that as you always have to coach effort and communication. Very easy to coach it as any player not giving effort or not communicating should be watching the game next to the coaching staff and should not be on the court to continue to not give effort and not communicate.
If effort and communication isn't drilled into every player's head every day at practice, then a team will play like Tech did Saturday. Another strike against Hester with me.
