If Tech can't win this one at home, it's going to tough to win any of the other remaining home games (North Texas, Charlotte, FIU, or FAU). The road schedule isn't much easier with FIU, FAU, WKU, and MT.

Willis is also out with an injury tonight.

There's not a big gap b/t FAU and the middle of this conference, FAU has a few narrow wins. The rest of their schedule sets up favorably but I expect them to drop at least one more before the conference tournament.

But I did watch -

Still woeful coming out of the second half when adjustments are made

First half was a very good half of basketball

Still don't know what to think of this squad overall - other than the fact I think our bench coaching is extremely weak

Some of the dead wood has already been pruned from the team, so that is a plus. But like you said, Tech's bench coaching is as weak as it has been since Loyd. Tech will only go as far as its talent will take it.
