Tech didn't have a Kobe.
Cobe Williams has left the team. His turnover rate was way too high at over 3 a game for the year and almost 4 a game in conference play.
The areas where he will be missed most are as an outside shooting threat and on the defensive end. His penetration game was largely neutralized this year by the number of turnovers that defenses forced him into.
Hate to see it, but next man up. Stewart's minutes will get a big jump.
Never saw that he added much net value. Inconsistent shooter and a turnover machine.
Heard he was invited to leave for 3rd violation of team rules. Not verified.
He was fun to watch, especially when he drove to the basket. Best wishes for him.
If Tech should win the CUSA Tournament and make it to the NCAA Tournament, it will probably not be for a long run with such a short bench. Tech has lost a lot of games this year when they had the lead at some point, sometimes even in the 2nd half, so anything is possible I suppose. It has been difficult to watch them play this year.
Total defensive collapse. If Tech keeps allowing opponents to shoot over 60% from the field, there is better chance of any of us playing any position on any Tech team than there is of Tech winning another game this year.
Tech just basically booked a Wednesday game in Frisco.
I'm tired of seeing Tech SUCK AT EVERYTHING!
Don't the law of averages says we have to be good at something?
What are we GOOD at? I mean really GOOD at? And don't say baseball. We went to Austin and shit a big ole turd down there. That wasn't "good". I'm talking REAL GOOD?
I think the law of averages applies when you are decent in a lot of areas. If you can maintain decent in many areas over an extended period, you can screw up and be very good at one by accident every 10 years.
