Toughest game of the season today... Even I don't know if we can beat them, but will be cheering them on! MTSU is #1 in the conference for a reason and in the top 25 in the country. It will take an almost mistake-free game for 4 quarters to pull this one out. Nothing would be sweeter for Walker in her last game, though.

Horrible call against Roberson, her 3rd foul still in the 1st quarter.

MTSU is the best CUSA has to offer? They suck! If they reach the NCAAs first halfway decent team they see will scorch them by 25+.

Techsters suck too. Can't make a shot from 2 feet away. Couldn't lay one in a rain barrel.

Horrible basketball, lousy refs...don't know what traveling is. Foul calls seem to be a toss of a coin.

Just my opinion - this showed that we CAN beat anyone in the conference. I think we will have some momentum going into the tournament. If we can sweep the FU's on the road this week, we should be in the top 5 and get a bye to the quarterfinals. I think we played with a LOT of grit yesterday and that is promising for the tournament. MTSU was coming off a 40 point victory over one of the FU's and we were coming off a full out hustle game of full court basketball short-handed on Thursday beating WKU. I am liking our effort. We missed some easy ones, but we did NOT let MTSU get in our heads - we fought till the end and almost pulled off a HUGE upset.

Tech has already clinched a top 5 seed and first round bye.

Even if Tech loses twice and North Texas wins twice to tie for 5th at 10-10, Tech has the head-to-head tiebreaker with a sweep. No other team can tie Tech at 10-10 since the bottom 5 all already have 11 or more losses.

    1 Middle Tennessee 16-2
    b WKU 12-6
    b UTEP 12-6
    b Rice 11-7
    b Tech 10-8
    -----------
    North Texas 8-10
    UTSA 8-11
    FIU 7-11
    Charlotte 7-11
    FAU 5-13
    UAB 4-15

Thanks! And, there is a VERY slim possibility to get to #4 unless Rice looses 2 of its remaining to make them 11-9 and we win out at 12-8. Rice has the tie breaker over us. We still need to win these last two. I think we have some great momentum going into the tournament and don't need any losses to the FU's to screw that up.
