What a game this was!
That was one of the best Tech games I have ever seen in person. Certainly, the most exciting for a loss. I brought an A&M friend and his wife to the game with me and they were bragging all during the first half. Second half shut them up and it was a blast. Wish we could have pulled it off...
The first 27 aTm points were a bummer, BUT!
And PS--That sideline stutter step TD pass run by Patton is underrated in Tech folklore.

The General definitely had the game of his life.
Need a guy like Colby Cameron. Dude was very calm and cool headed.
We were unstoppable in the Diamond.
That was such a great game. But it is so frustrating, maddening, disappointing, saddening, to see where our program is today versus where it was then. The players, the coaching, the everything about our football program at that point in time...and look at it now. Damn.
It took 10 years for Holtz and his bosses to let all the air out.
It will take more than a few months to get things back on track, especially with the BS the NCAA blindly put into place.
Yep - due to NIL and the portal, it is extremely more difficult to rebound
Would Cameron of stayed if the portal was in existence in 2010 or 2011 to build to the season he had in 2012?
Probably not
The crown prince of Shreveport jettisoned after one season as a true freshman because he was unwilling to adapt and grow...
