We have a three point line now, and a shot clock, and longer seasons, and COVID super-seniors, and freshmen are allowed to play. Obviously what this guy's done isn't remotely the same as what Maravich did. Of course not - per game it's miles away.


But it's fine. records (particularly career records) are made to be broken.

If I had my way, teams below .500 would be ineligible for postseason without winning a conference regular season or tournament championship. But in any sane world no team worse than two games below .500 should ever get a non-automatic postseason bid.

A 14-19 team in is more evidence that the CBI should cease to exist.
