KM got out of Waco just in time. They lost 13 games this season alone. That’s more than Mulkey’s teams lost in the last five years before she left. She got out at the right time. And, she arrived at just the right time in Baton Rouge now that they are playing for the national championship.

Mediocre people don’t like high achievers, and high achievers don’t like mediocre people. I think Saban was thinking about the people at Baylor when he said that. Of course, the only way Mulkey would have Tech people hate her would have been if she stayed in Ruston. Tech admin and lots of Tech fans would have hated her pursuit of excellence.

I typically cheer for TECH people- can't cheer for them when they go to the dark side though. Kim got out because they wanted her out badly and it was perfect timing for her. They are rebuilding a team, but she took a 5 star recruit with her and one other. They would have won last year with her at Baylor, but the top 2 players went to the WNBA. Her deciding to leave Baylor had nothing to do wiith her players.

... But it's clear that even had Kim accepted a deal to become Tech's head coach she wasn't going to be around past that first deal, if even for that long.

At the same time, it's become clear over the years Kim was never going to accept those budget limitations. She might have been Tech's coach for a brief period, but it wouldn't have lasted long. The break might have been more amicable, but it would have always be inevitable.

This I completely agree with. Kim would not have stayed at Tech long. The money offers would have been too much to turn down. As someone else said, the truth is somewhere in the middle of Kim's version and Reneau's version. But we all know Kim's ego. It was fun while it lasted.

Kim’s F bombs, her childish tantrums, constantly standing in bounds, and her condoning of Angel Reese’s multiple incidences of no class behavior show that Kim fits right in down at Lowclass State University.

One more thing...I thought a certain poster said no one cares about WBB. Can't tell that by the amount of "talk" about this mess there is, on social media, blogs...hell! even a college football blog I follow is discussing this crapola. One poster defended the classless Reese by showing Joe Burrow doing the same "ring" gesture thingy. So? All that proves is that LSU football is classless too.

I have had to snooze, for 30 days, seven fellow Facebookers cuz all they are posting about is LSU WOMEN"S Basketball. Good thing NO ONE cares about this, or we might be swamped by it

(11 national championships, all as head coach), and Pat Summitt (8 national championships, as a head coach) with pigtails aka prune face, shown with 4 national championships...well, that is just TWO as a head coach, still behind Tara V. of Stanford with three. So...in nearly 40 years in WBB pigtails has been a part of 4 championships. Hmmm...not particularly good, if you ask me.

But, since prune face has mastered college WBB, maybe she needs to take her act into the WNBA.

Agree about needing to learn about winning with grace. Even though this latest incident was in response to the Iowa superstar making the same gesture with no pushback. Of course, she added the ring gesture on top of the I don’t see you gesture that she copied.

Also, Mulkey has been part of 7 national championships. Two as a player at Tech, one at Tech as an assistant coach, 3 at Baylor and now 1 at lspoo.

I’m all for trash talking. No problem with it. Reese likes being a victim though. She probably needs to work on that 1.8 GPA.
