There’s no love lost between these two programs with Southern Miss easily being the big hater. These people are spoiled rotten, obnoxious and rude to an all new level of low. Even leaving CUSA they were treated as if they were somehow extra special. It was all quite sickening… except of course for Tech stealing their trophy in their own backyard. I’m pulling hard for a repeat performance of that, but it’s going to be major difficult. A big bugaboo is that a lot of our current team haven’t been to battle with USM before and don’t know the intensity that they’re in for. Come on Dawgs you need to find some sure footing in this one.

I feel this way from being in a conference with USM and experiencing first hand how you fans are. “If” means nothing. As someone brilliant once said, “If a frog had wings it wouldn’t bump its butt when it jumps.” You failed to comment on the special conference tournament treat. Why, because you know you got it. Intimidation at USM is how they operate.

We were announced to host the conference tournament and that is what we did. Judy probably figured it wasn't worth taking it away from us and a tournament at our house would turn the most revenue for the conference. Sucks we lost, but shat happens. We won the regular season in basketball this year and didn't even make the final in tournament. It happens.

We got destroyed by Alabama just last week and UNO beat us midweek just a couple of weeks ago. Anyone can win in a midweek game.
