    EL PASO, Texas – Behind a season-high 13 runs, 13 hits and four home runs, the Louisiana Tech Softball team defeated UTEP 13-2 to win its sixth-straight game and sweep the series at Helen of Troy Softball Complex.

    So, the LA Tech softball team has won 6 straight games in a row, and is only one and a half games behind First Place Charlotte in the CUSA standings. Furthermore, Charlotte comes to Ruston this coming weekend for a 3-game series against Tech at Billy Bundrick Field. So, it looks like our Softball team has a REAL CHANCE to win the CUSA regular season title again.
