Well Hester found this one as a part-time starter at Charleston Southern (10-21). He was their second leading scorer at 11.1 PPG, as he shot 36% from the floor and 35% from 3. No kidding. He should fit right in here.

PS I kind of liked the lack of blue bloods in the final four (save UCONN, of course). But not the most talented final four for sure.

Well dang. I didn't realize I was a borderline basketball sharpshooter. Maybe those stats are for some other kind of sharpshooting. I guess it is important to put the best sales-pitch on this news.

147 minutes in 32 games spread over 3 seasons. Yeah not much playing time. Wonder if it because he is 6’8” and weights 195 pounds. Or maybe it is because he shoots less than 30% from the floor.

Not feeling next year is going to be better than the last one.

I'm guessing it had more to do with Cryer, Love, Bridges, George, Flagler.........We are not the Big 12, so maybe this will be the time to shine. I'm cautiously optimistic that we will be better next year. Baylor had some players ahead of him that will be being paid next year, and one and done players last year as well. A big center will be a huge improvement. I will not say it couldn't be worse- we've had worse before. I expect improvement though.

I’m just glad to see us doing something. We were bad last year. We can keep doing the same and be bad, or we can try and get some former star recruits. If we’re bad again…we tried. If we just bring in a bunch of freshman and jucos we’re bad again and didn’t try.

Louisville, Texas tech, Baylor transfers in? I’ll be excited for now.

It's an upgrade - how much of an upgrade is VERY debatable

We lost too many close games last year due to bad coaching decisions coming from the bench that it tempers any excitement/hope that next year will be better

CUSA should be much weaker with the departure of UAB & UNT but Liberty will be good from the get go and we all know how we struggled last year in conference

Probably need to go heavy on SLC and SWAC schools with the OOC schedule
