I agree, and I’m sure his agent and future positional coach will preach that. He’s got the explosiveness with his vert and broad numbers and the brut strength to work with considering his bench reps. Technique is key at this point!

Good thing is, if he doesn’t work out in Seattle, he will have multiple other opportunities with other teams. He’s just too big/fast/strong to be a one shot and done.

I really believe he will carve out a role somewhere and make a 53-man roster. He was a 200# D1 outside receiver that got swolle but kept his athleticism. That’s not normal.

ME too. Holtz squandered him. Kid's got grit, toughness, size, speed, massive ability. I'm so glad he got into the League.

The Seahawks rookie mini camp begins May 12. They have 10 draft picks, 28 undrafted free agents, and a group of tryout players.

If Griffin gets past the rookie camp, the Seahawks have a team mini camp on June 6. If he makes it past that camp, training camp begins in late July.

It's obvious he's put a lot of work into this. I hope he makes it.

Wow thanks for taking the time to do so much research. Hopefully he gets a good shot either in Seattle or elsewhere. If he can at least make a practice squad or roster somewhere, he could carve out a career for himself.

Well, it came from a single article. But what I was really interested in was his competition. The Seahawks didn't draft anyone with his skill set, and I don't see a UDFA quite like him, either.

I can see why he would want to sign with Seattle.
