The metrics says you will score slightly more runs with 0 outs and runners on first and second, than with 1 out with runners on second and third. Although you have a slightly greater chance of not scoring with 0 outs and runners on first and second, than with 1 out and runners on second and third. So in any case, it pretty much a toss-up on whether to bunt. But, to do it in the scenario Burroughs called for it is just bad baseball, killed any chance of getting some momentum going at the plate. Effectively killing a potential rally. Baylor has no idea the bullet the dodged last year in passing on him.
Burroughs gives MT their first automatic out having Drost in the lineup. Mr. inning-ender does his normal thing.
