This is like March Madness, it's a great event worthy of its own attention and following. Yeah, I like it better when Tech is in it, but just like hoops if I only watched it when Tech was in it...well, you know.

Charlotte and DBU are both in the loser's bracket fighting for survival today. Currently Charlotte leads Lipscomb 5-2 in the 5th inning, and DBU plays Okie State later.

Future CUSA member Sam Houston State plays Tulane in an elimination game today, regional in Baton Rouge.

Sun Belt still alive with two teams, Coastal Carolina and Southern Miss, playing today for all the marbles to advance to the super regionals.

I remember our trip down to Hattiesburg this year for the USM game and wondered whether tickets would be available, which there were. Now, since they are hosting a super regional playing Tennesee I saw on a Jackson TV station that all tickets are sold and some behind home plate being resold for up to $1,000.
